Funded through the Greenville Chamber Foundation

The Greenville Chamber Foundation was formed in 1985 as the 501(c)3 charitable division of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce. Its mission is aligned with the Chamber. The Foundation improves the quality of life for the Upstate of South Carolina by mobilizing its members and their resources. Together, the Chamber Foundation and the Chamber membership, positively impact education and workforce.

The Foundation's purpose is:

*to house programs that will benefit the community at large with a specific focus on education, workforce development and local business interests
*to increase awareness of these community related issues so that the citizens of Greenville and the Upstate are informed and able to be pro-active citizens
*to be a facilitator of collaboration, bringing together community leaders to address community issues
*to raise funds for our premier programs, the Carolina First Center for Excellence and workforce development.

The Carolina First Center for Excellence and workforce development improve Greenville at its most basic and comprehensive levels—education and workforce. The Greenville Chamber Foundation actively works to improve the quality of life in our region by enhancing programs that affect everyone who lives, works, plays and visits.
