2012 Distinguished Alumni Award Nominatiions

Please submit the completed Distinguished Alumni Candidate Nomination Form to nominate an individual whom you feel is worthy of this honor. Please review the criteria below and complete the nomination form by Tuesday, January 22, 2013.  Each nominee will be given equal consideration based on the criteria established by the Alumni Nomination Committee.

Purpose of Award:

To provide recognition for the outstanding civic and community contributions by Leadership Greenville graduates.

Nature of Award:

Each recipient will receive a commemorative gift and will have a contribution of $500 made to the charity of their choice in their honor.  Formal presentation will be made at the Greenville Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting on February 21, 2013. 


Selection Criteria:

  • Leadership Greenville Graduate:  Must have participated in Leadership Greenville

  • Chamber Membership:  Must be a current member of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce

  • Community Service:  A current resident of Greenville County or nonresident whose contributions have been made to the Greenville community

  • Civic/Humanitarian Service:  Has served a minimum of two years on the working board of one nonprofit agency, organization, or commission. Has been elected to a board office, or has created and developed an innovative program/service which has positively impacted the Greenville community.
