PULSE CONNECTS COMMITTEE
PULSE Connects is a new PULSE program, created to connect the PULSE membership with the Upstate community. The PULSE Connect Committee will schedule (at least) four service projects for PULSE members to participate in, develop a PULSE in the Arts package to expose PULSE members to the art scene Greenville has to offer, and communicate with the membership about all the ways to get involved with the community (i.e. what events/happenings are going on that our members need to know about/attend). The Committee meets once a month at the Greenville Chamber.
PULSE LEADERSHIP COMMITTEE
The PULSE Leadership Committee plans and executes the six regularly scheduled PULSE Luncheons, and two signature leadership events. The Committee meets once a month to highlight speakers and topics to be covered at each of the events. In addition, this committee puts on two evening leadership events and possible morning leadership events as well.
PULSE MARKETING COMMITTEE
The PULSE Marketing Committee comes up with out-of-the box ideas to help promote PULSE to increase its membership. In addition the Marketing Committee creates a clear voice for what PULSE is and why young professionals in the area should join. The Committee meets once a month at the Greenville Chamber.
PULSE PACE SETTERS COMMITTEE
The PULSE Pace Setters Committee promotes, develops and organizes the Pace Setters Program (a 10-month mentoring program designed for leadership development in young professionals). The Committee meets once a month at the Greenville Chamber.
PULSE SOCIAL COMMITTEE
The PULSE Social Committee plans and executes all of the PULSE socials (at least six a year). Included in the six socials is the largest Upstate young professional event of the year -- the Annual Hangar Party. The committee meets once a month at the Greenville Chamber to determine social locations, secure sponsorships, and determine all details of each event.
PULSE Sports Committee
This committee designs and implements programming for this program that offers opportunities for PULSE members to engage in sporting activities and leagues together. Co-ed recreation league teams are formed throughout the year, as well as quarterly PULSE Field Days.
PULSE Talent Committee
This committee designs and implements programming for this summer-intensive program open to all chamber-member interns with the goal to attract and retain young talent to the Upstate area by encouraging local connections during their time in the region. The program will include 6-8 activities, ranging from career-building workshops to social events and leadership lunches.
