Leadership Seminar To Address Serving on Boards

Ann Wright of the American Red Cross is to address How to Serve on Boards at the next USC Professional MBA PULSE Leadership Seminar on Tuesday, July 10 at the University Center, located at 225 South Pleasantburg Drive. Pace Setters Appreciation Dinner - July 23
PULSE Pace Setters, their mentors and guest speakers are invited to the PULSE Pace Setters Appreciation Dinner on Monday, July 23 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Drury Inn & Suites. Mayor Knox White will be the featured speaker and dinner will be provided by Mutt's Barbeque. There is not cost to attend, but registration is required. Blues Bash at Oysters on the West End
PULSE will have a social networking event, entitled Blues Bash, on Tuesday, July 24 at Oysters on the West End, featuring Thrift Top Swift, a local blues/funk band. Breakfast with U.S. Senator Jim DeMint
Be sure to mark your calendars for a breakfast with U.S. Senator Jim DeMint on Wednesday, August 8 from 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. This event is open to all upstate young professionals. Cost to attend is $10 for PULSE members and $20 for non-members. Volunteers from Business and Industry Needed for "Opening Doors to Success Day"
GRADUATE GREENVILLE will be sponsoring "Opening Doors to Success Day" on Saturday morning, August 25, 2007 in the Berea High School and Greenville High School attendance areas. Volunteers from business and industry are needed to accompany school district personnel on visits to homes of students not returning to school. Volunteers will visit homes in teams of three or four to invite students to return to school. All volunteers must complete a one and a half hours training session prior to participating in the "Opening Doors to Success" walk.
