Small Business

Small businesses (50 employees or less) make up over 85% of the Greenville Chamber’s membership. The Chamber is dedicated to providing these critical drivers of our economy with resources and opportunities for increased success.

According to the Small Business Association, small business drives the U.S. economy by providing jobs for over half of the nation’s private workforce. In addition, the Office of Advocacy funded data and research shows that small businesses create 75% of the net new jobs in our economy.

The Chamber’s Small Business leadership is focused on sustaining a fertile environment for small business growth. Programming for small businesses is designed to do the following:

• Help define and navigate resources available for small business from start-up and business growth to exit strategy

• Provide access to big business through comprehensive standardized procurement procedures

• Boost impact and influence with ideas from successful entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, and top caliber keynoters

Chamber membership offers direct access to hundreds of fellow small business owners, many of whom are facing the same challenges. This environment creates camaraderie and mutual dedication to help each others' businesses grow, which is a huge part of the Chamber’s vision to build one of the world’s premier business communities.
