We had the honor of recognizing The Hayes Approach as our August 2013 Small Business of the Month Award winner this morning.
The HAYES Approach was launched in April 2007 by Leslie and Vernon Hayes with the vision that all organizations, regardless of size, with locations in the Southeast, can have access to customized, world-class organizational behavior support in the areas of strategic planning, leadership coaching, human resources support, and training and development.
Leslie and Vernon have attracted an amazing team of caring, talented, committed people who are an active part of creating new opportunities and making sure the company lives up to its values. I personally love the fact that they invited their whole team to participate in the award ceremony!
In addition to providing top notch training and organizational management services for their clients, the company typically serves two pro-bono non-profit clients each year. They also give a percentage of profits to local charitable organizations.
Among their guiding principles are the beliefs that:
- Every person is created with a purpose that they desire to fulfill, both individually and through the organizations and companies to which they belong.
- Goals are more likely to be achieved when three core items are understood: (1) where we are, (2) where we’re going, (3) how to get there.
- All people and organizations benefit from the guidance and encouragement of an objective third party.
