Viewing Inclusion as an Authentic Leadership Practice

The face of the future is radically changing in America.  The time is now to respond to the changing demographics. The demographics we currently most often consider “majority” will shift to “minority.”  Preparing for this multicultural workforce means exercising intentionality in the area of diversity and inclusion.  Diversity and inclusion is, indeed, a leadership issue and must be intentional and genuine to take root.  Beginning with education are best first steps. The Greenville Chamber desires to play a role in helping companies to ready their organizations for the workforce changes to come.  A number of our investors have already begun to take advantage of diversity and inclusion consulting and training opportunities.  We deliver upon this by offering diversity consulting and training services to our member investors.  This includes helping investors strategically implement diversity and inclusion strategies within the framework of their organization.  Here are some ways our investors are leveraging diversity and inclusion consulting services at an affordable rate of $75 per hour: creating a diversity and inclusion mission statement; establishing a diversity and inclusion council; implementing diversity recruiting/hiring practices, creating a diversity and inclusion strategic plan; establishing a diversity and inclusion brand, practicing diverse community impact. The Greenville Chamber also offers a wide range of training to help chamber investors’ staff and key stakeholders embrace and understand how to best leverage diversity and inclusion within their respective organization.  A session is $250 and based on 1-2 hours.  Longer sessions can be estimated separately.  Training can be customized or investors can select from sample topics below (but not limited to):
