Southern Pressed Juicery is Table 301’s latest venture and Greenville's first organic, plant-based cold-pressed juicery and restaurant. On hand to celebrate were Executive Chef, Xavier Bonnafous, Founding Partner Olivia Esquivel and Table 301 Owner Carl Sobocinski, Mayor Knox White, Mayor Pro-Tem David Suddeth and SPJ’s fans, family and friends. SPJ offers 100% organic, raw, cold-pressed juice made from fresh fruits and vegetables. Juices are cold-pressed in the shop’s compact kitchen using an industrial juicer, the X-1 Cold Press Machine. These machines are able to extract much higher concentrations of nourishing vitamins and minerals. The cold pressed method of extraction produces a much more nutritious juice that is able to stay fresh for a few days with proper storage- and it tastes better too! When Esquivel first brought the idea to Sobocinski, he thought she was crazy, skeptical as to whether Greenville was ready for such a radical idea. The support they’ve seen has hopefully put all doubt to rest. With delicious flavors like “Catching Lightnin’ Bugs” with pineapple, orange, strawberry, ginger, and chia, even novice juicers can hop on board.
