Monday, August 24, 2015on
It’s the first day of school for middle schoolers at First Presbyterian Academy! The Academy, which previously covered preschool through elementary school, expanded to grades 6th through 8th and celebrated the first day of school with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Celebrating the historic opening were the Head of School, Tom Roe, as well as other staff, teachers, and the new students and their parents. The new students will enjoy small class sizes, with only 8 students currently enrolled. First Presbyterian Academy teachers and staff are dedicated, Christian professionals who love children and seek to provide a clear model of a biblical, grace-centered Christian life and worldview to the students, while utilizing the very best curriculum available. The First Presbyterian Academy has a rich history of providing quality education for students in the greater Greenville area. The preschool opened in the 1950’s, and in 2008, the school expanded its program into the elementary years. The school is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Greenville at 200 W. Washington Street. The Academy believes in striving to IGNITE a passion for learning and INFUSE God’s Word as a lens to view all aspects of the world so our children may grow to IMPACT the community and the world beyond. The Academy is still accepting middle school students. To learn more, visit their website at www.firstpresbyterianacademy.org or give them a call at 864-235-0122.
