Putting the Fun in Refund

Would you like to win $1,000 a day just for filing your taxes? H&R Block is putting the “fun” back in Refund Season with the $1,000 Daily Sweepstakes! Starting January 15th and going until February 15th, H&R Block is giving away 32 million dollars by giving $1,000 to 1,000 people every day.  All you have to do to be registered to win is go into a local H&R Block office to file your taxes, give them your email, and you’re automatically entered into the contest.

Still want to know why you should go ahead and file your taxes early (as if the possibility of winning thousands of dollars isn’t enough)? According to H&R Block, “By filing early in the season, taxpayers are helping protect themselves from tax refund fraud.” H&R Block is the world’s largest consumer tax services provider.  More than 680 million tax returns have been prepared worldwide by and through H&R Block since 1955. For more information, including official rules and other ways to enter, taxpayers can visit www.hrblock.com/grand.

The skeptic in you may be asking, “What are the odds that I’ll actually win?” Well I didn’t do well in Statistics, but I can tell you that although this is a nationwide contest, the Greenville area (Greenville, Mauldin, Taylors, and Travelers Rest) has had 16 winners so far, and there are still two weeks left!  There are several H&R Block locations throughout the Upstate, so find the one that is most convenient for you and get to it.

Plus, if you’re a new client and bring in the Greenville Chamber referral form, we’ll receive donations from H&R Block through their Nonprofit Referral Program! All you have to do is download the form and take it in to your H&R Block tax professional now through April 15. It’s that easy!

Don’t forget, H&R Block can assist you with more than just filing your taxes like payroll, bookkeeping, financial planning, and more. Learn more about their wide range of services at www.hrblock.com.
