Leadership Development Coordinator Position Available

The Greenville Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Leadership Development Coordinator. This person, under the direction of the Director of Leadership Development, will serve as program coordinator and provide administrative support for all Leadership Development programs with a special emphasis on Pulse Young Professionals.

Responsibilities for this part-time position include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative assistance and coordination for all Leadership Development programs, boards, and committees as assigned 
  • Assure effective communications for programs and events via online newsletters, e-blasts, and social media
  • Support the funding of Leadership Development committees by monitoring sales and sponsorship opportunities
  • Assist the Director in managing expenditures for programs maintaining budget worksheets and the accounting database
  • Work with the Director helping to set and implement processes/policies for programs
  • Attend program after hour events as needed
  • Assist in volunteer and committee management to help set and implement program goals
  • Maintain database for all leadership development programs and events 
  • Assist in planning and coordination of events 
  • Represent the Greenville Chamber at community and business functions as required
  • Assure effective communication with Chamber's Investors, staff, external stakeholders, and community 
  • Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications/skills we’re looking for in a candidate include:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Proficient user knowledge of computer operation systems, specifically MS Office 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience utilizing social media
  • Experience utilizing Constant Contact or other email marketing services preferred
  • Experience working with database programs and maintaining information 
  • Attention to detail with strong time management skills
  • Disciplined self-starter, collaborative team player
  • Transport equipment and materials to sites and facilities (easels, books, handouts, coolers, etc.) weighing 30 lbs.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed for events
