Meet Michelle, Our New Advocacy Intern

Posted by: Michelle Rash on Thursday, September 1, 2016

I am a junior Economics and Political Science major at Furman University. I’m involved with the American Enterprise Institute Executive Council, Delta Gamma, and College Democrats on campus and will be studying abroad in Edinburgh in the spring.

As the Business Advocacy intern, I will be assisting Katie and Jason with legislative research, event logistics, and any other tasks that may arise (coffee runs included). I am looking forward to exploring some of the policy issues affecting the Upstate and making connections in the business and political communities in Greenville.

I love reading, rowing, and really spicy food, and in my free time I can often be found hunting down political candidates to make them sign odd things, exploring historic sites, or attempting to memorize the entire libretto of Hamilton.

Please join us in welcoming Michelle! If you see her around town or at upcoming events, make sure to say hi. We are thrilled to have her on board.
