In Business: The Art Cellar

Posted by: Marion Mann on Thursday, October 13, 2016

We were super excited to celebrate The Art Cellar's new location at 233 North Main Street in Downtown Greenville across from Noma Square, behind the Max Heller sculpture on Wednesday, October 12th!

Owner Lindsay McPhail has been active in the Chamber's Pulse Young Professionals group for several years and thanked the many connections she made through Pulse who helped her with the move, including Josh Tew (broker for the space), Blaine Hart (broker for the landlord/building), and Sarah Moore and John Boyanoski with Complete Public Relations (PR for move and grand opening). Lindsay also noted thanks for fellow Pulse members Ashley Brown, the author of artist blogs for her website, and Mike Pennington for helping her strategize the move of the gallery from the beginning stages. According to Lindsay, "Having these connections made this big undertaking possible and successful!  Literally, Josh and I had a conversation at a Pulse luncheon right when I was thinking about looking for new spaces and things took off from there!"

The Art Cellar is an eclectic fine art and craft gallery that features more than 40 local artists with talent across wide variety of mediums, including paintings, photography, ceramics, fiber arts and other inspiring forms of artwork. The gallery offers a relaxed and approachable atmosphere to experience the thriving art community in the Upstate.
