The MAP Agency

Nichelle Harrison is the owner of The MAP Agency which was established in 2016. MAP stands for Modern Access to Professionals. This innovative workforce developing staffing business connects professional, experienced women, who have an extended absence on their resume, to companies who know the value women bring to the workforce.

The MAP Agency specializes in assisting women with a career break, to re-enter the workforce. Or women who need to pivot in their career to avoid an extended absence. Nichelle formed her business from personal experience. She observed other women go through the same experience and wanted to fulfill a need in the workforce development of our state. When asked what the greatest reward has been for Nichelle regarding her business she stated, “Realizing that I could actually help empower and re-direct the lives of women and their families while positively impacting the community.”

Nichelle is the most excited about the opportunities to grow in multiple areas of her business with the help of the MBA program. In five years, Nichelle sees The Map Agency as the "go to" experts for companies in this area to engage, attract and retain smart, capable, experienced women. A piece of advice to entrepreneurs from Nichelle is to pray. Entrepreneurs should have a vision, set goals, and be able to step outside your comfort zone.
