High Spirits Hospitality began as an entrepreneurial endeavor for Tammy Johnson, CEO and President, built on the concept of a bartending service (now Liquid Catering) that would cater to corporate and personal events in the city of Greenville. Within a few months of filing the LLC for her new business, Tammy had begun catering for major organizations like Prisma Health System, Southwest Airlines and the Greenville Chamber of Commerce.
Fast forward nine years, and High Spirits Hospitality has grown from the humble beginnings of Tammy's garage and a few Craigslist employees to a sustainable business with 30 full-time employees and over 100 part-time employees ranging from bartenders to security officers. The business oversees the operations of independent, hospitality brand companies including The Old Cigar Warehouse, Liquid Catering, Bravo1 Protection, Topside Pool Club and High Spirits Events. The best part is, the company is still 100% woman-owned with no outside investors.
The hospitality industry may be in recovery from the effects of COVID-19, but the teams within High Spirits are continuing to grow and flourish. Read more about the company's story at www.highspiritshospitality.com.
