Our state’s healthcare experts joined us for a special Community Matters to discuss the COVID-19 vaccine, its efficacy, and plans for distribution.

• Dr. L. Brannon Traxler, MD, MPH, S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control Interim Public Health Director, will provide an update on the vaccine, it’s efficacy and the state’s plan.
• Prisma Health has been named the vaccine distributor for the Upstate, and Dr. Saria Saccocio, Prisma Health’s Ambulatory Chief Medical Officer and the Leader of their COVID-19 Vaccination Task Force, will follow-up with an analysis of what the rollout may look like and what it means for our region and your business.
• Nathan Ash, PharmD, MBA, BCPS, Vice President of Pharmacy – Acute Care, of Bon Secours Mercy Health will speak to the preparation and general process of the vaccine distribution process.
