On Tuesday morning, House Representatives will have a hearing on the hate crimes bill. Currently, South Carolina is one of three states without this type of legislation. The Greenville Chamber, through the Metro Chambers Coalition, submitted a letter to the leadership as a written testimony on our position.
We believe that it is time for our state to again prioritize and expand the dialogue on matters that will make life better for all of our residents. To bring about real and lasting change and economic prosperity to all of our neighbors, our communities must be safe, thriving, and equitable.
