For the month of May, Community Matters addressed Mental Health. Just as we wouldn’t hesitate to tell our employers if we were having a problem with our backs or had a cold, it’s important that we realize our mental health is a huge component of our overall health.
Lucy Henry, Vice President of Stake Holder Relations, for First Sun EAP discussed the different aspects of well-being and the importance of viewing mental health through the same lens we do physical health (from both the employer’s and employee’s perspective). She walks through some helpful and healthy methods for addressing your well-being.
