Compass of Carolina was founded in 1919 as the Juvenile Protection Association to assist with the well-being of indigent children in the Greenville area. Since that time, the Agency has experienced amazing growth and has spun off several other agencies serving the area. In 1996 the name of the agency was changed to Compass of Carolina.

Through our affordable counseling and educational programs, we provide compassionate direction to children, adults, and families across our community. Our services include Family Violence Intervention, Adult & Teen Anger Management, Family & Children Counseling Services, Victims Services, and fiduciary management through our Representative Payee program. We are currently starting to offer some of these services in Spanish.

We believe that everyone has the right to live, work, and learn in safety. Compass’s mission is to preserve family, freedom, and independence for all our clients.
