Buff City Soap has opened its second “Makery” in The Upstate of South Carolina. This new store is located in The Shops at Greenridge on Woodruff Road. An official ribbon-cutting will take place on April 8th at 9:45 a.m. and the community is invited to come join the fun.
Buff City Soap is a brand that showcases plant-based goodness inside products like soap, bath, skincare and even laundry products. You will not find harsh chemicals like parabens or formaldehyde-type ingredients in any Buff City products; only nourishing elements that your skin craves. The Greenville location is the second for owners Tammy Swinney and Joni Hayes who also operate the Clemson Makery opened in 2021.
“We are excited to share fabulous handmade bath, body and household products with everyone in the Greenville area,” says Swinney. “Our Clemson Makery has been very successful and we feel good about showcasing our products in the community here in Greenville, too.”
Buff City Soap was founded in 2013 with a unique product-to-market objective made possible by creating every product in the store’s Makery. Shoppers are encouraged to stop in and watch the Soap Makers in action as they produce high-quality alternatives to similar-type products containing animal fats and detergents. Try one (or more) of the dozens of available scents in Buff City’s full line of handcrafted soap products. Customize your favorite scent to different products for an “all about you” experience. Our goal is to have something for everyone that makes them feel and smell wonderful.
