Now open, the raw pet food provider will introduce the brand’s nutrition-centric specialties to the Upstate.

Founded in Long Island, New York, The K9 Shop is the brainchild of Anya and Robert Tucker, who wanted to provide their community with an affordable place to get high-quality raw food. Known for promoting better health for pets through nutrition, stores help create a diet and plan for individual pets that is biologically appropriate and cost-effective, while partnering with holistic veterinarians to best stock their shelves and train their staff. 

Now as an approved “Puppy Friendly Pet Store” by The Humane Society of the United States, The K9 Shop pledges to never sell puppies. Our focus is to maintain high-quality foods that are all antibiotic and hormone-free and, in most instances, also USDA Human Grade and made domestically. 

“The K9 Shop believes that every dog should be afforded the opportunity to have a species-appropriate diet with ingredients that promote dental hygiene, healthy weight, skin, gut and coat health, optimal energy, and more,” adds Valerie Heffron, Partner of The K9 Shop. “As an animal advocate for years working to help get positive animal welfare laws passed, I am proud to help share our team’s knowledge with the Greenville community, where we can’t wait to meet more furry friends.”

Located at 1320 Hampton Avenue (Suite 10B), The K9 Shop is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. The store plans to host various informational events around training, pet first aid and nutrition, while also partnering with local animal rescues to benefit charitable causes.
