My name is Braden Freeman and I am the new Project Intern for the LaunchGVL program for the 2023-2024 school year.

I am born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina where I attend J.L. Mann High School. I will be a senior this year and am serving as Student Body President. In that role, one of my primary responsibilities is Spirit Week, where we raise money for local charities. Since 2020, I have led the fundraising for over $500,000 benefitting children throughout South Carolina. I hope to go to college after high school, but do not have a clue as to where yet!

Outside of school, I serve on the Ronald McDonald House of the Carolinas Teen Leadership Board as the Vice President as well as on the City of Greenville Youth Commission. I am an avid outdoors person, as I love hiking, travelling, and really anything outside. That passion also brought about my photography business, Curly Shots Photography, as I regularly do sports photography for athletes across the Upstate in addition to my personal love for nature photography.

I am incredible excited to be a part of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce team and cannot wait to see where the LaunchGVL program will go this year!
