Advocates for Your Family.  Collins Family & Elder Law Group is dedicated to caring for and protecting your family.  With 196 years of combined experience and 14 offices throughout the Carolinas, our compassionate all-female team of licensed attorneys work with you to create a resolution tailored for you.  Your rights are our priority, and we are devoted to our clients’ unique needs.

Our practice includes all areas of family law and elder law, including separation, divorce, child custody, child support, father’s and grandparent’s rights, estate planning and administration, probate, asset protection, and more.  Our team includes board-certified family and elder law specialists, family financial mediators, and a licensed superior court mediator.

As a boutique firm, we offer personalized concierge services.  We are excited to expand into a larger, permanent space, conveniently located less than two blocks from North Main Street.  After completing our new office space, we were thrilled to welcome the Greenville community to our Ribbon Cutting to celebrate our expanded footprint to meet our clients’ needs.

Our Founder, Shawna Collins, has been practicing in South Carolina for over 25 years.  She began her practice in the Lowcountry area and has since expanded the Firm into North Carolina and across the state of South Carolina.

The Greenville, SC office initially opened earlier in 2023 as one of Collins Family & Elder Law Group’s 7 South Carolina locations.  It is led by primary Attorney Kristen Leonard, who practices in both family and elder law, with over 10 years of experience as a licensed attorney.

Ms. Leonard has extensive trial practice and litigation experience which allowed her to be at the forefront of trends in the legal profession.  She is now able to carry that experience into a more boutique setting, providing her clients the dedicated attention they need and to identify best solutions per case, whether collaborative or as your strongest advocate in the courtroom.

She has a lifelong interest in elder law and estate planning and is excited to continue helping the Greenville community with these needs.  Kristen Leonard and her team are poised to continue supporting your legal needs at their new, expanded location at 109 E. North Street and available by appointment.
