SC Biz News named Dr. Cheryl Garrison and Natasha Pitts as 2024 Women of Influence. Honorees were recognized during a luncheon event on March 13th at the Hyatt Regency.
Dr. Cheryl Garrison is the Executive Director of the Greenville Chamber Foundation and the Director of Talent and Leadership. In addition to leading the Chamber’s Foundation, Dr. Garrison also leads the Chamber’s Leadership Development suite of programs. She has extensive experience in education at both the higher education and K-12 levels. She serves on many boards locally and nationally, including Greenville Literacy Association, Goodwill of the Upstate and Midlands, and American Chamber of Commerce Executives Foundation.
Natasha Pitts is the Vice President of Diversity and Economic Inclusion. In this role, she leads and executes all aspects of the Chamber’s Diversity and Economic Inclusion strategy. Pitts has worked in the areas of equity and inclusion, supplier diversity, workforce development, economic development, and minority business recruitment and support. She serves on boards for Children’s Advocacy Center of Spartanburg, UNCF Leadership Council, United Way of Greenville County’s African American Leadership and more.
