Woodlawn Memorial Park has been serving the families of Greenville and surrounding areas since 1938. Originally established by Clyde M. Gaffney Sr., Woodlawn was the first non-monument cemetery in South Carolina. Today, Woodlawn is proud to be a member of the “Dignity” family of funeral service providers, which is North America’s largest network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers.
Occupying approximately 112 acres, Woodlawn Memorial Park offers a peaceful and serene environment featuring numerous trees, rolling hills, a veteran’s area, private estates, cremation gardens and mausoleums. Among those who have chosen to make Woodlawn memorial Park their final resting place are the famous baseball player, “Shoeless Joe” Jackson and Albert Einstein’s grandson.
Woodlawn Memorial Park would like to announce our newest development, “The Garden of Tranquility”. This garden features private walled estates, hedged estates, cremation estates and ground burial spaces.
