Leadership diversity is critical to the achievement of the Chamber’s goal of Greenville becoming an inclusive model community. The Greenville Chamber actively supports talented women and multicultural professionals in our community in achieving leadership positions in greater numbers.
The mission of the ACE Leadership Symposium is to send the strong message to the community that in order to advance minority leadership including mid to senior level appointments and nonprofit/corporate board service, there must be a concerted effort to advocate for this cause and collaborate to ensure multicultural leaders are successful so that they can excel personally and in their endeavors to contribute to their organizations. The ACE Leadership Symposium is one of two initiatives the Chamber executes annually to advance leadership diversity within underrepresented populations.
Don't miss this chance to network with approximately 500 minority professionals and majority leaders from an array of public and private sectors.
Keynote Speaker: Marcus Shaw, Senior Director of Business Development, Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT). MLT equips and emboldens high-achieving women and men from underrepresented communities – African American, Latino/a and Native American – to realize their full potential, to make a mark and make a difference. Launched in 2002, MLT is a nonprofit organization that is transforming the career and life trajectories of a new generation of diverse leaders – while expanding the talent pipelines at more than 100 leading businesses, social-sector organizations, and universities. MLT has convened a uniquely powerful and vibrant community of Rising Leaders – 5,000 and growing – who are propelling change throughout our institutions, communities and nation.
