Help us celebrate SUNFLOWER’s grand opening. The restaurant and bakery is very excited to serve the community scratch-made sandwiches, baked goods, and quality espresso.

Robert Hodges started Sunflower Eatery, off Roper Mountain Road, in the Summer of 2018. After a year and a half of operating successfully, COVID rapidly slowed down the business. Recognizing that the pandemic was not going away any time soon, Robert had to make a tough decision: Close up and find another job or stay open and try to weather the storm. After some timely encouragement, he decided to spend the next 2 years developing his culinary and baking skillset. SUNFLOWER is the accumulation of the best sandwiches that were created over the past few years. The menu will include a small selection of gourmet sandwiches made with housemade bread for breakfast and lunch, grits bowls, rice bowls, and fresh salads. In addition, fresh baked goods will be available including biscuits, muffins, cinnamon rolls, and several cookies.
