Facilities Technician Intern
Setting: Office
Description: The Facilities Technician Team Intern supports the Facilities department in maintaining a safe, clean, and functional healthcare environment. This internship provides hands-on exposure to building maintenance, safety procedures, and operational support within a professional healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with basic maintenance tasks under supervision (e.g., light repairs, equipment checks)
Support room setup and breakdown for meetings or events
Help with organizing tools, supplies, and maintenance inventory
Assist with preventative maintenance tracking and documentation
Observe safety inspections and compliance procedures
Support general upkeep of facilities and grounds
Desired Skills / Coursework: Interest in facilities management, skilled trades, or operations
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to follow safety instructions carefully
Ability to lift light to moderate items with supervision
