Setting: Office
Description: This internship offers STEM-focused students hands-on experience in Intellectual Property (IP) law. Interns will assist attorneys with research, patent filing, processing transfers, drafting invention disclosures, and patent proofreading. The work primarily involves patent prosecution—preparing, filing, and securing patents through the patent office, not litigation. Interns will gain insight into how technical expertise is applied protecting innovations through IP law.
Desired Skills / Coursework: Interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mechanics, students interested in STEM majors that would be eligible for the patent bar, ideal candidates are detail-oriented, analytical, and enjoy writing.
Requirements for Employment:
