NCFC Social Media Intern

Description: The Social Media Intern will support the creation, scheduling, and monitoring of content for our social
media platforms. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit
communications and digital marketing while making a meaningful impact in the community. Assist in developing and implementing a social media strategy aligned with our mission and
goals.
• Create engaging posts (text, graphics, videos) for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram,
LinkedIn, and others.
• Schedule and publish content using tools like Canva.
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and track analytics.
• Research trends, hashtags, and best practices to increase reach and engagement.
• Help maintain brand consistency and voice across all content.
Desired Skills / Coursework: Passion for our mission and interest in nonprofit work.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic graphic design or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Express, etc.) a plus.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Range of Hours & Days: The intern would be required to work evenings on Tuesdays and the 2nd and 4th Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. All other hours can be completed in a hybrid format (in-person or remote).
Range of Pay: $12-$14
