Project Intern
Setting: Construction
Description: We are looking for a motivated high school student interested in learning about construction and how a general contractor manages projects. This internship offers hands-on experience in the field and office, working with project managers and superintendents. Help with daily tasks on job sites. Learn how construction projects are planned and managed safety checks, and progress managing. Observe meetings and project coordination. Perform basic computer and paperwork tasks.
Desired Skills / Coursework: Interest in construction or related fields ;
Enrolled in Construction, Welding or HVAC Career Center programs preferred;
Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn;
Able to follow safety rules and instructions
Requirements for Employment:
Other Requirements: 16 years of age
Range of Hours & Days: M-F 7:30-5:30. Hours will be dependent upon the student schedule. 10 hours per week
Range of Pay: $15.00/HR
