The American Heart & Stroke Association is committed to building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.  Funds are raised through three signature events: The Upstate Heart Walk, Heart Ball and Go Red for Women Luncheon C as well as Jump Rope for Heart the Hoops for Heart Programs in schools.  Monies raised help fund research, education, and advocacy efforts in the Upstate and South Carolina.  By 2020, AHA is striving to improve the cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20% while reducing deaths from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20%.
