Greenville Heritage Federal Credit Union was established in 1941 as a not-for-profit financial institution owned by its members and governed by a member-elected Board of Directors. Initially chartered to serve City of Greenville employees, the charter was later expanded to include Greenville County employees and various other select employee groups. Now, Greenville Heritage has a community charter and anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Greenville County can join! We have a full range of financial products and services designed to improve the financial lives of our members. Greenville Heritage FCU was chartered and is supervised by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the federal government. The NCUA performs regular examinations of the credit union and we also contract with outside auditors to perform an annual audit to assure the credit union is operating within the guidelines established by NCUA.
