Hangar 28 will transform the iconic South Ramp restaurant and hangar space into a daily gathering spot and elevated event destination. At its core, Hangar 28’s menu will feature raw ingredients, built with intention. No shortcuts—just wholesome, approachable meals created to satisfy diners of all ages. The restaurant will serve a daily lunch and shareables menu, and a weekend breakfast menu offering revolving weekly specials. On the beverage side, a full bar will offer a curated selection of handcrafted cocktails to complement the menu. Hangar 28 will also offer private charter catering services for guests arriving or departing at GMU. As part of the growing Community Corridor, Hangar 28 will house a versatile, dedicated event space. The fully climate-controlled venue boasts a 16 foot glass hangar door, giving a unique backdrop of active runways and modern design.
