BIGPAC ANNOUNCES 2022 PRIMARY ENDORSEMENTS

Greenville business community endorses 10 business champions

(GREENVILLE, SC) The Business and Industry in Greenville Political Action Committee (BIGPAC) endorsed eight state House of Representatives candidates and two Greenville County Council Candidates today for the June 14th Primary Election.

“BIGPAC supports these candidates based on their commitment to a free market economy and constructive debate on the issues facing our state and local community," said Phyllis Henderson, the Chairman of BIGPAC. “We applaud all candidates for their willingness to serve the public and look forward to working with the winners in the year ahead.”

The PAC-endorsed candidates represent parts of four Upstate counties:

House District 4: House Majority Leader Davey Hiott, Pickens

House District 5: House Rep. Neal Collins, Pickens

House District 6: House Rep. Brian White, Anderson

House District 7: House Rep. Jay West, Anderson/Greenville

House District 10: House Rep. West Cox, Anderson/Greenville

House District 22: House Rep. Jason Elliott, Greenville

House District 33: House Rep. Travis Moore, Spartanburg

House District 36: Chairwoman Rita Allison, Spartanburg

Council District 17: Joe Dill
Council District 19: Ivan Mathena

The BIGPAC Board applauds all candidates who stepped forward to improve their community and the state by running for public office.

BIGPAC is the political action committee with a mission to support the Greenville Chamber's advocacy activities. Endorsements are based on incumbent voting record and the Greenville Chamber’s candidate ratings, which were released earlier this week.
