GREEN CHARTER SCHOOL SIMPSONVILLE ANNOUNCES LOCATION  

Greenville, SC – GREEN Charter Schools is pleased to announce that its newest school, GREEN Charter School Simpsonville, will be located at 1100 Brookfield Parkway in Greenville near the intersection of I-385 and Butler Road. The school will open in August, serving grades K-3 and grade 6 during year one. Additional grades will be added each year until the school serves grades K-8 in the 2026-2027 school year. GREEN Simpsonville will serve as a feeder school to GREEN Upstate High School which is located at 356 Bridgeway Boulevard across from Bridgeway Station.

GREEN Simpsonville is a public non-profit charter school offering a personalized learning approach to families across the upstate of South Carolina. Applications are currently being accepted through January 31 for the 2024-2025 school year and can be found at www.scgreencharter.org.

Maria Werner, GREEN Simpsonville’s Principal, stated, “We are super excited about opening the doors to this wonderful facility in August and offering our students a top-notch education in our culture of care! We are grateful for the continued support of the community and our GREEN families.”

GREEN Charter Schools opened in 2013 and operates six additional schools across South Carolina. It offers an integrated STEM curriculum and a high-nurturing approach to teaching and guiding students. The mission of GREEN (Global Renewable Energy Education Network) is to prepare students in STEM to creatively and responsibly impact our complex world in renewable energy, sustainability, and conservation efforts.
