The Greenville Chamber is pleased to announce that Alex Fagan has joined the organization as Director of LaunchGVL.
LaunchGVL is a partnership between the Greenville Chamber and Greenville County Schools that connects high school students with paid internships. In this role, Alex will work closely with employers, educators and community partners to expand opportunities for students to gain valuable workplace experience and develop the skills needed for future career success.
"We are excited to welcome Alex to the Greenville Chamber team," said Carlos Phillips, President/CEO of the Greenville Chamber. "Alex’s leadership will help strengthen a program that is essential to our region's continued growth and long-term success."
Prior to joining the Chamber, Alex served as the Program Coordinator for Curriculum at Furman
University’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI). He was also a teacher at Greenville High School for more than a decade, where he was named Outstanding Teacher of the Year in 2022.
