Leadership Greenville Announces Class 53 Participants
The Greenville Chamber's flagship leadership development program, Leadership Greenville, is pleased to announce members of its 53rd class.
Participants were selected through a thorough application process that included essays, professional resumes, and community involvement.

About Leadership Greenville
The Chamber's flagship leadership program is a ten-month intensive experience where participants work in teams on a volunteer project designed to make them more informed, committed, and equipped to be a leader for Greenville County. By taking an intensive look into the issues affecting Greenville County, Leadership Greenville chooses projects that prepare and motivate participants to provide quality, dynamic leadership within the area.
A major outcome of the Leadership Greenville experience comes in the form of social capital as class members network with people in diverse circles, increasing their capacity to influence change and innovate the way we do business. Employers benefit from their employees’ participation as they establish relationships that will provide new opportunities for the company and deal firsthand with vital local issues.
Progam Details
- There is a 2-day opening retreat in mid-September, a class day each month, and a closing retreat in May. There will be an after-hours graduation ceremony in May.
- Leadership Greenville typically meets on the first Wednesday (all day) of each month, except when affected by holidays, etc.
- Class members will be part of a project team that addresses a need in our community.
- Tuition for Leadership Greenville is $4550 for Greenville Chamber Investors. For all others, tuition is $5550.
How to Get Involved
- Participants are selected each spring through an application process based on their leadership experiences, commitment, prior involvement in the community, and their ability to set and achieve high personal goals.
