Leadership Greenville 50 Project: Youthbase
Leadership Greenville Class 50 is excited to have chosen YouthBASE for this year’s project. A $20,000 investment in their program location at Greenville Multicultural Church will ensure a safe and engaging learning space for years to come.
Through afterschool programming, YouthBASE empowers K-5 to 2nd graders for academic success by third grade, nurturing not just minds but hearts. They go beyond academics, instilling essential behavioral, social and emotional skills for a balanced education. Their family-centered approach actively involves parents in their child’s holistic development.
Investing in the Future!
Through fundraising efforts and community supporters, LG50 will complete the following upgrades:
New Canopies at Entrances
Canopy coverings over each entrance will protect families as they come to pick up their children, especially during inclement weather.
Upgraded Playground
New engaging playground equipment, a new coat of stain, canopy covers and a mulch upgrade will make the space safer and more exciting for YouthBASE learners!
New Signage
Two new signs with YouthBASE’s logo will make the space inviting and welcoming to all the families they serve.
